“Mountain House foods have been a vital part in ensuring the British Short Track Speed Skating Team have the appropriate nutrition available while they travel around the world racing”
Dr Kevin Currell, Performance Nutritionist - British Triathalon, Short Track Speed Skating and Canoe SlalomWe have used Mountain house during our last two seasons of racing, including our 3rd place on the World Championship 2010 (spain), 1st place on Explore Sweden and the 1st Place Alpine Expedition Race (Switzerland). The food is very tasty and so easy to handle. Whenever we have a chance, we try to swap away some of the energyfood for a bag of Mountain house.

Finding the right food and nutrients is a real key-factor for success in Adventure Racing, since we need to constantly refuel our bodies during 5-6 days on nonstop-racing. During the last three years we have had the opportunity to re-fuel with meals from Mountain House. We like them a lot, Spaghetti Bolognese and the Salmon with potatoes are our favourites!”
Björn Rydvall, team Silva. 4 times World Championship Medalist in Adventure Racing
We have had the opportunity to eat freeze dried food from Mountain House during our Adventure Racing seasons 2010 and 2011. Long adventure races, with a nonstop race time up to 6-7 days, required huge amounts of energy. We have learned that our performance is strongly enhanced when we refuel with high quality meals instead of snacks and sugar. Meals from Mountain House are very tasty, yet not too spicy, and easy to handle. If possible, we eat them every race day. Warm if possible, but often we enjoy them cold while on the move. Our favorites include Lasagna. Enjoy your meal!
Björn Rydvall, Team Silva“I would just like to say how pleasant it has been dealing with your organisation, your prompt responses reflect well on you and your Company.”

The new mixed cases of meals offer an opportunity to taste a range of meals that are nutritionally balanced and taste great. The cases are useful if your planning an expedition or if you are just planning for an emergency. With a 5 year shelf life on the pouches you can be assured that these won't go to waste.
With such unrest at the moment with regards to fuel crisis, financial crisis and tempremental weather these packs are ideal to help you plan for the unexpected. With Mountain House® freeze dried foods in your food reserve, you can be ready for just about any unexpected crisis. Imagine, for instance, what a lifesaver these foods can be when your electric power is knocked out for several days by a storm. With Mountain House products on hand and a one-burner stove or candle to heat water (cold water can be used in a pinch), you can still enjoy a hot, satisfying meal in less than 10 minutes. Having a private food reserve makes a lot of sense. Good sense for both financial and security reasons. Use pouches for limited short-term emergencies. Use cans for potential extended emergencies, or an emergency situation affecting a lot of people.
